They play in the rugby union and their home ground is the Six-ways Stadium. It has a capacity of well over thirteen and a half thousand people and is very close to the M5 motorway as well. It takes it name from the nearby junction six. It went through renovation in the year 2006 and the capacity was increased. It hosted the LV final which took place in March 2010.
Worcestershire County Cricket Club has its main ground on New Road in the area and this opened in the year 1896 and has a capacity of nearly five thousand. It hosted a world cup game back in 1999 and this was Sri Lanka against Zimbabwe. The two ends are called New Road end and also the Diglis End as well.
Other than this there is the Worcester City Football Club who plays in the Blue Square Conference and this is under St Georges Lane. The basketball team is called the Worcester Wolves.
